This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to services provided by Humanitas Technologies, Inc. ("we", "us", "Humanitas", or "Company") and our digital products that link to or reference this Policy, including our CASEY chatbot (collectively, the "Services") and explains what information we collect from users of our Services (a "user", "you", or "your"), including information that may be used to personally identify you ("Personal Information") and how we use it. We encourage you to read the details below. In general, we use the Personal Information we gather in order to facilitate providing the Services to you and help us learn more about the use of the Services. This Policy applies to any visitor to or user of our Services, but does not apply to any website, offering, product or service of any third party company, even if such third party website links to our Services. We do not control any such third party websites, offerings, products or services so please always review those applicable privacy policies before deciding to provide any information.
We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time. We will notify you of any changes to this Policy by posting a new Policy to this page, and/or by sending notice to the primary email address specified in your account ("Account"). You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically reviewing this Policy to check for any changes. Changes to this Policy are effective when they are posted on this page. You acknowledge that your continued use of our Services after we publish or send a notice about our changes to this Policy means that the collection, use and sharing of your Personal Information is subject to the updated Policy.
When we use the phrase "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we mean information that allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, as well as any other non-public information about you that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing information.
Information We Collect
We collect the following types of "Personal Information":
- Voluntary Information: We collect other types of Personal Information that you provide to us voluntarily, such as information that you provide directly to us in order to enable us to provide you with the Services or that you provide to the Services. We may also receive requested information if you contact us regarding support for the Services.
- Responses to CASEY: We collect your responses and communications to CASEY in the Services, which may include Personal Information such as household information, name, age, military/veteran status, gender, ethnicity/race, geographical indicators, employment information, medical information, education information, financial information. We use this information to provide the Services to you, including identifying relevant social services based on your specific needs.
- Account Information: We collect Personal Information that you submit to us in connection with your Account registration, including first name, last name, phone number and any other information you submit voluntarily at registration.
- Communications: We may collect information about you when you communicate with us by sending us an email, we will collect and store any information that is contained in your communications with us.
- Surveys: When you participate in one of our surveys, we may collect additional profile information.
- Other: We may also collect Personal Information at other points through our Services that state that Personal Information is being collected.
Technical Information
We collect the following types of "Technical Information":
- Information Collected by Our Servers: Information Collected by Our Servers. To make our Services more useful to you, our servers (which may be hosted by a third party service provider) collect information from you, including your Internet Protocol ("IP") address or other device identifier.
- Log Files: We gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes phone numbers, time of call, employer data.
Information We Receive from Third Party Sources
- Employers: We may receive your first name, last name, phone number, employment start date, and employee ID number from your employer who has engaged us to provide Services to their personnel. Please note we do not share any Personal Information with your employer unless you have consented or instructed us to do so.
- Other Sources: We may obtain information from other sources, including but not limited to, publicly available sources, business partnerships, third party integrations you consent to, or through transactions such as mergers and acquisitions. We may combine this information with other information we collect from or about you.
How We Use Personal Information
We will use your Personal Information to:
- Facilitate providing the Services to you, including without limitation providing information to you in response to your prompts;
- Identify you as a user in our system;
- Facilitate the creation of and administration of your Account;
- Provide you with the Services and complete your transactions;
- Provide you with Account support;
- Help understand your needs and tailor the features and content of the Services to you;
- Respond to and, as applicable, fulfill your requests, resolve disputes and/or troubleshoot problems;
- Verify your compliance with your obligations in our Terms of Service;
- Send you administrative e-mail notifications, such as security, or support and maintenance advisories;
- Send newsletters, surveys, offers, and other promotional materials related to our Services and for other marketing purposes;
- Improve the quality and functionality of the Services;
- Communicate with you about the Services.
We may also use your Personal Information to create Anonymous Information records by excluding information that makes the information personally identifiable to you.
We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.
Anonymous Information
We use the Anonymous Information we collect to analyze trends, administer and improve the Services, gather demographic information about our user base as a whole, and better tailor the Services to our users' needs. However, we reserve the right to use Anonymous Information for any purpose, and to disclose Anonymous Information to your employer or publicly without restriction. We provide analytics based upon our customer's use of the Services to prospective partners, other customers, advertisers and other third parties. We may also disclose, on an anonymous basis, actual statements, verbatim, as made by our customers.
How We Disclose Information
We may disclose certain Personal Information:
- Employers: The Services are provided to you through your employer. We will never share personal information that your employer does not already possess with them, unless otherwise instructed by you. We may share Anonymous Information with them. This Anonymous Information is not personal information and cannot be tied back to you, your account, or your web browser.
- Third Parties Designated by You: When you use the Services, the Personal Information you provide will be shared with the third parties that you authorize to receive such information (e.g., your employer).
- Third Party Service Providers: We may share your Personal Information with our third party service providers who provide services such as data analytics, data hosting, information technology, support service, email delivery, auditing, and other services.
- Affiliates: We may share some or all of your Personal Information with our parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control ("Affiliates"), if we have such Affiliates in the future, in which case we will require our Affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.
- Corporate Restructuring: We may share some or all of your Personal Information in connection with or during negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition or dissolution, transaction or proceeding involving sale, transfer, divestiture, or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets. In the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, Personal Information may also be transferred as a business asset. If another company acquires our company, business, or assets, that company will possess the Personal Information collected by us and will assume the rights and obligations regarding your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.
- Other Disclosures: Regardless of any choices you make regarding your Personal Information (as described below), we may disclose Personal Information if it believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (a) resolve disputes, investigate problems, or enforce our Terms of Service; (b) comply with relevant laws or to respond to requests from law enforcement or other government officials relating to investigations or alleged illegal activity, in which case we can (and you authorize us to) disclose Personal Information without subpoenas or warrants served on us; or (c) protect and defend our rights or property or the rights and property of you or third parties; and/or (d) investigate or assist in preventing any violation or potential violation of the law, this Privacy Policy, or our Terms of Service.
Your Choices Regarding Your Information
- Marketing Emails: You can opt out of receiving marketing emails by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each email. Please note that even if you unsubscribe or opt-out, we may still send you Services-related communications (e.g., emails related to your Account).
- Text Messages: For text message communications, you can text back "STOP" and we will send you a text message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. You can also contact us at [email protected] to opt out.
- Changing or Deleting Your Personal Information: You may review, change, update, correct or delete the Personal Information in your Account by contacting us at [email protected]. You authorize us to use and disclose any new or modified information that you provide in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and you agree that we are under no obligation to delete or modify information that you have previously chosen to provide us. We may also retain an archived copy of your records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. Please remember, however, if we have already disclosed some of your Personal Information to third parties, we cannot access that Personal Information any longer and cannot force the deletion or modification of any such information by the parties to whom we have made those disclosures. Certain information is necessary in order for us to make the Services available; therefore, if you delete such necessary information you may not be able to use the Services. Please note that even though you may request the deletion of your Personal Information by us, we may be required (by law or otherwise, such as to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, or enforce our Terms of Service) to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time) in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements. When we delete Personal Information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives.
Feedback
If you provide feedback to us, we may contact you in regards to such feedback. We may use and disclose such feedback in accordance with the terms in our Terms of Service, provided we do not associate such feedback with your Personal Information. We may also publish user feedback from time to time, provided that we will obtain your consent prior to posting any feedback that is associated with your Personal Information.
Information Disclosed to Third Parties
This Privacy Policy addresses only our use and disclosure of information we collect from and/or about you on the Services.
The Services may contain content or links to other websites that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, do not review and are not responsible for the privacy policies of or content displayed on such other websites. When you click on such a link, you will leave our Services and go to another site. During this process, another entity may collect Personal Information or Anonymous Information from you. Please review the privacy policy of any new site you visit.
Children Under 16
The Services are not directed to individuals who are under age of sixteen (16) and we do not solicit nor knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of sixteen (16). If you believe that we have unknowingly collected any Personal Information from someone under the age of sixteen (16), please contact us immediately at [email protected] and the information will be deleted.
How We Respond to Do Not Track Signals
We do not currently respond to "do not track" signals or other mechanisms that might enable consumers to opt out of tracking on the Services.
How Do We Secure Your Personal Information?
We take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or destruction. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks.
How Do We Retain Personal Information?
Generally we retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it or as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain appropriate business records and enforce our agreements.
To the extent we collect your "biometric information" or "biometric identifiers" as defined by applicable law, we will delete that information permanently upon the earlier of three (3) years after your last interaction with us or when such information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

California Privacy Rights
This section applies only to California consumers. For purposes of this section "Personal Information" has the meaning given in the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"). It describes how we collect, use, and share California consumers' Personal Information in our role as a business, and the rights applicable to such residents.
Subject to certain limits under California Civil Code § 1798.83, If you are a California resident, you have the right to request information from us regarding the manner in which we share certain categories of your Personal Information with third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes. California law provides that you have the right to submit a request to us at our designated address and receive the following information: (a) the categories of information we disclosed to third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year; and (b) the names and addresses of third parties that received such information, or if the nature of their business cannot be determined from the name, then examples of the products or services marketed. You are entitled to receive a copy of this information in a standardized format and the information will not be specific to you individually. To make such a request, please contact us as specified below in this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or share Personal Information. We may share Personal Information with authorized service providers or business partners who have agreed to our contractual limitations as to their retention, use, and disclosure of such Personal Information. If we change our practices in the future, we will implement an opt-out policy as required under California laws.
Furthermore, subject to certain exemptions, California residents have the following rights with respect to Personal Information we may have collected about them. Please note these rights are not absolute, and there may be cases when we decline your request as permitted by law. To exercise these rights, please contact us as specified below in this Privacy Policy.
- The right of access means that you have the right to request that we disclose what Personal Information we have collected, used and disclosed about you in the past 12 months.
- The right of deletion means that you have the right to request that we delete Personal Information collected or maintained by us, subject to certain exceptions.
- The right of correction means that you have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate Personal Information that we maintain about you.
- The right to non-discrimination means that you will not receive any discriminatory treatment when you exercise one of your privacy rights.
Notice Regarding the Categories of Personal Information Collected
You have the right to receive notice of the categories of Personal Information we collect, and the purposes for which those categories of Personal Information will be used. The categories we use below to describe the information are those enumerated in the CCPA:
- Identifiers, such as name, e-mail address, and phone number. We collect this information directly from you or from third party sources.
- Customer records information, such as employment history, financial information, medical information and health information. We collect this information if you provide such information in your CASEY responses.
- Characteristics of protected classifications, such as ethnicity/race. We collect this information if you provide such information in your CASEY responses.
- Internet or network information. We collect this information directly from your device.
- Biometric information, such as your voice data from raw call logs. We collect this information from your interactions with CASEY.
- Inferences.
- Professional or employment-related information. We receive this information from your employer.
- Other Personal Information, in instances of CASEY responses, when you interact with us online, by phone or mail; participation in surveys; or in providing the Services.
